Who We Are
Axis Scaffolding Essex is a fully certified, independent scaffolding company based in Rayleigh, Essex. We were founded with a clear aim: to provide South Essex homeowners, builders and businesses with safe, reliable scaffolding — delivered on time, every time, with no corners cut.
The company is led by Ashley, who has worked in the scaffolding industry for over a decade and built Axis from the ground up. Every installation we carry out reflects Ashley's commitment to doing things properly — from the initial site assessment through to final dismantling.
We are registered as a limited company in England and Wales (Company Number: 15050136) and operate from our registered office at Arterial Road, Rayleigh, Essex, SS6 7XT. All of our scaffolders hold current CISRS (Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme) cards, giving clients full assurance that every installation meets UK health and safety standards.
How We Started
Axis Scaffolding was established to fill a gap in the South Essex market — quality scaffolding from a local team who understand the area, respond quickly and communicate clearly throughout the job. Based in Rayleigh, we are perfectly positioned to cover the full SS and CM postcode areas, from Canvey Island and Southend in the east to Chelmsford in the north and Basildon in the west.
We started with residential projects — roof repairs, chimney work and loft conversions — and have grown to serve commercial clients, contractors, housing developers and local authorities across Essex. Our reputation is built entirely on word of mouth and verified reviews from satisfied customers.

Ashley founded Axis Scaffolding Essex to deliver the kind of service clients actually need: safe installations, honest pricing, and dependable turnaround from a team that communicates clearly.
With more than a decade in scaffolding, he has led projects ranging from domestic roof access to complex commercial works, including major site experience on Battersea Power Station.
